Website redesign for Law firms

Rebuilding is not always the answer. First we measure what already works.

In practice, what changes for law firms: You replace the site without losing what already brought visits and contacts.

An old site is rarely bad all over. Before proposing work, we audit what exists: what already brings visits, what converts, what is broken and what merely looks dated. Throwing away URLs that already rank is the most expensive mistake in a redesign.

When replacement is justified, it comes with a redirect map, preservation of the URLs that bring traffic and a before-and-after comparison.

The typical bottleneck in this sector

Client acquisition is limited by bar association rules, which removes the exact lever other businesses use: result promises and aggressive advertising. What is left is content, authority and a screening step that separates a real case from curiosity.

What changes in the pipeline

  • Screening before the meeting: practice area, urgency and case viability
  • Paid consultation as a separate conversion from signed retainer
  • Source tracking per practice area, because cost per case varies widely

What is included

  • Audit of the current site: speed, conversion, indexation and content
  • Documented decision between refactor and rebuild, with the cost of both
  • 301 redirect map for the URLs that bring traffic
  • New structure, copy and layout, with tracking revalidated
  • Metric comparison before and after the switch

What changes in your operation

You replace the site without losing what already brought visits and contacts.

How we measure results here

Cost per booked consultation and consultation-to-retainer rate, per practice area.

What defines the cost: how many pages migrate, how much content is reused and the size of the redirect map. A standalone audit costs less and sometimes concludes a rebuild is not worth it.

Straight answers

Is advertising allowed for lawyers?

In Brazil, soliciting clients and commercializing the profession are prohibited; informative content is not. We work inside the OAB code of ethics: informative content, no result promises, no fee display, no client testimonials. Final review is always the firm.

Will I lose Google rankings when switching sites?

You lose them by switching without a redirect map. With 301s pointing each old URL to its new equivalent, positions usually recover within weeks.

My site is old but brings contacts. Should I touch it?

Maybe not. If the problem is appearance and contact volume is fine, changing it is risk without clear return.

Can I keep the same domain and hosting?

Yes. Domain and hosting stay in your name; if the current host is slow, we explain the cost of moving before proposing it.
